The weather is still not good enough for bike trips among Roman graves so I went to Bruges instead. It turned out to be a sunny day with not too much wind and the crowds were manageable, much better than in summer even though schools are closed this week so there are more people about than on other weekdays in winter, I assume. I could have done many things but I set the focus on the quest and thus skipped the Jerusalem church and Brangwyn, both of which are now on a to do list for next time.

I am still sorting through the pictures and I’ve got some painting to do to and finish a book I started reading on the train so pics are for tomorrow or later. Here is just one, of a grumpy angel swinging a censer. For some reason I encountered nothing but grumpy angels today. And man, how many chocolate shops does a town need?
